35 Minutes of 4K Gameplay

A 35-minute uncut 4K gameplay video by community creator Don Joewon Song showcases FH6 in its full glory:

Forza Horizon 6 Japan open world racing gameplay screenshot

  • Tokyo driving at various times of day with dynamic lighting
  • Drift runs on mountain passes
  • Rally stages in Hokkaido snow terrain
  • Drag racing on the Shuto Expressway
  • The Estate customization interface walkthrough
  • Multiplayer convoy cruising through downtown Osaka

New Visual Details

540° Steering Wheel Animation

In cockpit view, steering wheels now rotate over 1.5 full turns (540° lock-to-lock), matching real-world steering ratios. Previous Horizon games had unrealistic 180° rotation.

Cosmetic Tire Wear

Tires now visually degrade during races:

  • Tread depth visibly reduces over time
  • Sidewall scuffing from curb contact
  • Rubber buildup on fenders after drift sessions
  • Tire marbles visible on racing line during long races

Improved Engine Audio

Forza Horizon 6 features re-recorded audio for every car:

  • Interior vs exterior — different sound profiles depending on camera position
  • Spatial audio — better positional awareness of other cars' engines
  • Echo and reverb — tunnels and urban canyons affect sound propagation
  • Dyno-accurate — gear ratios affect pitch progression naturally

No Denuvo DRM

The Steam version of Forza Horizon 6 does not use Denuvo anti-tamper technology. This is a change from some previous Xbox Game Studios PC titles and has been welcomed by the PC gaming community.
