Progression System — Wristbands, Stamps, and Festival Rank

Beginner 7 min read

Two Progression Tracks

FH6 has two parallel progression systems. You need to advance both to unlock everything.

1. Festival Wristbands (Main Track)

Progress from tourist to Horizon Legend through 7 wristband tiers:

Wristband Requirement Unlocks
🟡 Yellow Complete opening act + first qualifier Festival access, basic events
🟢 Green Win festival events More race types, car upgrades
🔵 Blue Complete PR Stunts + races New regions, tougher events
🩷 Pink Mixed events + skills Higher car class restrictions lifted
🟠 Orange Accumulate influence R class events, endgame content
🟣 Purple High-tier events Legend Island preparation
🥇 Gold All previous completed Legend Island, Horizon Legend achievement

Pro tip: Focus on PR Stunts (speed traps, danger signs) for quick influence. Each takes ~30 seconds and gives as much XP as a 5-minute race.

2. Collection Journal Stamps (Exploration Track)

Inspired by Japan's stamp-collecting culture. 7 stamp tiers:

Stamp Activities Required
🟡 Yellow Basic exploration, first photos
🟢 Green Landmark photos, Horizon Stories
🔵 Blue Car collection, deliveries
🩷 Pink Touge battles, street races
🟠 Orange Advanced stunts, exploration
🟣 Purple Near-complete exploration
🥇 Gold Master Explorer achievement

Earn stamps by: photographing landmarks, completing food delivery missions, buying new cars, finishing Horizon Stories, winning touge battles.

Fastest Path to Legend

Time Activity
0–1 hour Festival races only (fastest wristband progress)
1–2 hours Mix races + PR Stunts
2–4 hours Focus on Discover Japan stamps + map exploration
4+ hours Clear fog of war, smash bonus boards, legendary events

Common Mistakes

  • Buying hypercars before purple wristband — they're locked from festival events
  • Over-investing in starter car — spread credits across 2-3 cars for different classes
  • Ignoring the Collection Journal — you miss unique car rewards
