Touge Battles — Mountain Pass Duels

Touge (峠) battles are 1-on-1 downhill mountain pass races, inspired by Japanese street racing culture and Initial D.

How It Works

  • Two players face off on a narrow mountain road
  • Lead / Chase format: The lead driver must stay ahead; the chase driver tries to overtake
  • Races take place on real-world inspired touge routes, including:
    • Mount Haruna / Akina Pass — the iconic Initial D downhill
    • Bandai Azuma — high-speed mountain sweepers
    • Hakone Turnpike — technical tight corners
  • Damage is enabled (cosmetic) — contact matters
  • Winner earns credits and touge ranking points

Tips for Touge

Tip Detail
Drift, don't grip Rear-wheel drive and drift tunes outperform grip builds on narrow roads
Know the course Memorize corner sequences — one mistake ends your run
Block the inside When leading, protect the racing line into corners
Late brake The chase car can brake later — use the tow to close in

Car Meets

Inspired by Tokyo's real-life Daikoku Parking Area, Car Meets are social hubs where players gather to show off their cars, trade designs, and cruise together.
